Since 1978 the Vancouver International Children’s Festival has captured the imagination of kids with an enchanting world of performing arts. For the past five years Smallbox has managed the Children's Festival website and we're pleased to announce the launch of its latest iteration.
A registered non-profit charity, the 2010 edition of The Vancouver International Children's Festival runs from May 17 to May 24 at Vanier Park in Vancouver. Vancouver's Toolbox Design developed the new UX design and Smallbox powers the site's content management.
In addition to a number of backend improvements such as integrated database content that greatly simplifies the management of shared information across the site, new functionality includes an integrated blog, and embedded YouTube™ video that plays in a Smallbox overlay window on the site to give site visitors a taste of performances to come.
