A Q+A back and forth about UX Design
This year we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Today more than 190 countries representing more than 1 billion people participate in festivities and events that promote a healthy, sustainable environment. Earth Day got its start coincidentally around the same time as the development of the internet.
This April, ICOGRADA's Design Week is happening in Downtown Vancouver. As a sponsor, we'll be there, personning a booth and also participating in what we can. The theme is Design Currency: Defining the Value of Design. I've written a bit about design value on the Design Week website as well as the Graphic Designers of Canada website.
Personally, I am hoping to go to as many talks as possible during the week...
I'm at the GDC AGM in Winnipeg, getting a sense of the pulse of the organization at a national level. There's a lot of productive dialogue going on regarding communications, the web, and moving the organization forward in a sustainable way.
