I love google docs (GD).  Not like google needs more publicity, but it can be easy to forget the power of collaboration and a simple spreadsheet when you've been running solo for a little while.

We are using GD for some project management.  It's not project management software per se, but it helps us keep our tasks unified.  Recently, I handed the document over to the external PM to coordinate to-do's and it's helping us hone in on the finish line.

I came across this video today by Paul Boag that effectively defines a method for creating positive relationships between designer and client. It's quite inspiring because Boag pulls no punches in laying out the traditional client/designer issues, but provides some really great advice for keeping projects on track and making clients happy.

If you are looking for a great screen-cast product look no further. Check out ScreenFlow. It's made by the same folks that cooked up Flip-4-Mac WMV plug-in for QuickTime.

Screen Flow is a super simple yet powerful application that captures your display video and audio. The apps editing interface brings an iMovie simplicity to editing the resulting video file. Exporting and distributing the final product is also very simple. It's a Mac-only app and it costs $99 USD, however that includes two activations of the license.

Enjoy!
