Great news for the BC Smoking Cessation Program! After 1 year, 150,000 smokers are using the BC Government Program to kick the habit. The QuitNow.ca program, which offers additional support for smokers, has contact with over 20,000 individuals interested in quitting and over 11,000 registered for web, text and telephone support.

The Vancouver Sun recently published an in-depth article reviewing the commercialization of a Burcon NutraScience product. Archer Daniels Midland, A US-based food processing company, will license the Vancouver-based company's Clarisoy product for use in sports drinks.

I've been using Smallbox for over 6 years and it just keeps getting better and better. Its always been easy to use for non-web-savvy users, but the interface is now smoother and more intuitive, and the tools are getting more sophisticated so you can have more control over typographic details, links and embedded images. I consider it for every web project I do.
