The big news around Smallbox Software is the recent roll-out of Smallbox Config.

Config enables site administrators to make changes to primary navigation (section titles, page titles), add new pages and drag-and-drop pages from one section to another. Config comes standard to all Smallbox 5.1.1 sites and also allows site admins to add Google Analytics codes to their site.

Smallbox has also aunched a new image slideshow module that uses JavaScript to create an elegant picture show that can overlay a page or run within the page. You can see a version of the slideshow in action on the Drive Design portfolio pages.

Smallbox plans a robust rollout of new functionality over the next few months that will include adding the ability to create 301 redirects for all pages on a site through Smallbox Config and tools to verify site ownership to take advantage of Google apps. Exciting stuff!
